SHORT BIO

Qualified as a medical doctor at the University of Natal (now UKZN) in 1982. Qualified as a Specialist Obstetrician and Gynaecologist in 1994. Ran a solo Obstetrics and Gynaecology for many years before returning to the Public sector at Edendale Hospital in Pietermaritzburg as a Senior Specialist. Had stint as Head of Unit O&G at Edendale Hospital. Also served as a UKZN Honorary lecturer while at Edendale Hospital. Served one term as a SASOG National Councillor. Past Branch Chairperson of the KZN Midlands branch of SAMA.
