SHORT BIO
Sean Chetty is a Specialist Anaesthesiologist based Cape Town. He is an expert in Pain Medicine and is also a qualified Intensive Care sub-specialist. After completing his PhD, Sean developed an interest in medico-legal issues and in mediation processes in particular. In addition to having extensive medical experience, Sean has also worked in the higher education sector for more than 15 years, and has extensive experience in the post-graduate education sector. He has also served as a non-executive director on a number of boards, particularly in the health and education sectors. He firmly believes that finding mutually beneficial solutions is the best way to strengthen the healthcare and education sectors in South Africa, and to allow the country to reach its full potential.
