Dr Sam BEJA, a Medical Practitioner by profession and also a Minister of Religion, being an Ordained Priest in the Anglican Church of Southern Africa is currently engaged as a General Manager for Quality Health Care Assurance Systems in the Eastern Cape Provincial Health Department He graduated with an M.B.;Ch. B. degree from the then University of Natal as well as having post graduate qualifications namely Dip. HIV Man (CMSA); Specialist in HIV Care and Management (IAPAC); Certificate in Maternal and Child HIV Care and Management from the Pacific Aids Education Training Centre, Kecks School of Medicine, University of Southern California. Amongst his passions are pursuit of fairness and equity for the marginalized, Human Rights' activism,promotion of Constitutional Democracy and consistency in provision of quality service delivery. Sam is a well rounded individual with a wealth of experience in various fields; having served in numerous Boards including being one of the founder members of the Health Professions of South Africa (HPCSA) and the African Monitor- a Pan African NGO tracking Development Funding in the Continent
