SHORT BIO
Retha Britz holds two Masters Degrees in Philosophy (M.Phil): 1. Medical Law and Ethics from University of Pretoria and 2. Applied Ethics from the University of Stellenbosch, and a M.Sc in Physiology from University of North West. Based in Johannesburg, Retha is a medico-legal and clinical research consultant. She has held several positions in the Pharmaceutical Industry since 1999 and works globally. Retha has a vast knowledge of medical record keeping and informed consent in medical care as well as clinical research. Her expertise has been recognised both nationally and internationally. She is also serving as director on the Homeowners Association of the estate where she lives. Retha is an accredited mediator for medical negligence and health care cases, as well as homeowner association disputes having completed the MiM Medical Negligence/Commercial Mediation Training Course.
