SHORT BIO

I am an admitted advocate and a member of the Pretoria Society of Advocates since 2001. Before I joined the Bar, I was a prosecutor for 5 years and a State Advocate at the DPP, Pretoria for 10 years. I specialize in delictual claims litigation, (especially unlawful arrest / detention and malicious prosecution claims against the Minister of Police and / or the National Director of Public Prosecutions as well as medical negligence claims against health professionals) for both plaintiffs and defendants. I am married to Herman who is also an admitted advocate, and we are the parents of three young men who are almost out of our pockets. I am an active participant in matters concerning the Bar especially training and believe that we all have a social responsibility to be involved in our communities. I feel very strong about justice and regard righteousness as one of the ultimate virtues.
