SHORT BIO

Chris de Waal is a qualified CA (SA) with a Tax Honours as well as a Certificate in International Treasury Management. He has nearly 20 years of experience in commerce and industry covering a variety of industries such as engineering and construction, waste management and logistics, publishing and the energy sector in Africa. His responsibilities included financial accounting, analysis, mergers and acquisitions, insurance, tax compliance and planning, treasury and information technology. Especially through his role in payroll and human relations, he realised the need for less adversarial methods for dispute resolution and qualified as mediator in order to help disputing parties achieve win-win outcomes.
